Season Three awards : part 1 of 2
 Yep folks, it's that time of the year. As this season has 30 episodes, we're halfway there before the finish line, so it's time to recap what we saw so far.Admittedly, the first half of third season wasn't all-out bad, but its worse bits were the pits alright. There were a couple of real worthy episodes, but a fair amount of howlers as well. The awards, thus, are... The Golden Rod award for Twilight Zone excellence goes to : Extra Innings, Dream Me a Life, Memories, The Hellgramite Method, The Call, Acts of Terror, The Trunk The Silver Rod award for valuable addition to the Twilight Zone canon goes to : The Curious Case of Edgar Witherspoon, The Trance, 20/20 Vision, There was an Old Woman The Bronze Rod award for good effort goes to : The Crossing, The Hunters, Our Selena is Dying, Appointment on Route 17 Agree, disagree ? There is definitely a real b-movie feel to many of the episodes in this season. Just a consequence of a lower budget I guess.
I think just about the worst thing one could say about the majority of the episodes is that they are boring. At best you could say they're decent but no more. The standard has dropped a bit.
